RMX Big Bang Workshop
Over 10 days, 15 participants continually transformed a room at the Intercross Creative Centre in Sapporo, Japan. As a group we emptied our minds into the nothingness of a black room, saw it turn white, and every colour in between. Each day a different task prompted the group to explore different aspects of their creativity.
Day after day we saw our efforts modified, added to and erased. Initial preciousness and nervousness were replaced by admiration of what had evolved. Some days we worked quickly within restrictions, whilst other days we came to a sudden halt thanks to complete freedom. We worked as a group. We worked alone. We traversed the spectrum of creative possibilities and come out feeling refreshed, revitalised and remixed.
